Founded in 2003 right here in Omaha, LifeGuard MD was built on a foundation of partnership and exceptional customer service. What started as a local initiative has grown into one of the Midwest’s most trusted AED suppliers and training providers. In March of 2025, our founder Patty Wrich passed the torch to Omaha native Mitch Huff, who shares her passion for helping people and advancing community safety.

LifeGuard MD, Inc. was founded in 2003 in Omaha, Nebraska, by Patty Wrich with the founding principles of partnership and superior customer service. We strive to uphold that promise for each and every customer, from individuals and small businesses, to fortune 1000 companies. In March of 2025, Patty made the bittersweet decision to sell her company and life’s work to Mitch Huff. Mitch is an Omaha native with a passion for helping people and is committed to furthering the legacy that Patty has left.
