LifeGuard MD welcomes new chapter
Dear Valued Customers, Employees, Family, and Friends,
After more than two decades of dedication, hard work, and growth, I am writing to inform you that I have made the decision to retire from LifeGuard MD. It has been an incredible journey, and I am filled with gratitude and pride as I reflect on the impact we’ve had on the pre-hospital healthcare industry.
When I founded LifeGuard MD, my goal was always to provide the highest quality First Aid equipment and Defibrillators to ensure the health and safety of our communities. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with remarkable individuals—our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and the unwavering support of family and friends. Your trust and belief in our mission have allowed us to reach heights I could never have imagined when we first started.
To our customers: Thank you for your trust in us to provide essential life-saving equipment. Your loyalty and support have been the cornerstone of our success. I am grateful for the relationships we've built and proud to have played a role in supporting your workers and constituents to give them the tools to save lives every day. LifeGuard MD will continue to support all of our customers with the same dedication you have come to expect from us.
To my employees: It’s impossible to express how much your dedication has meant to me over the years. Your hard work, passion, and commitment have helped LifeGuard MD grow into what it is today. I have been fortunate to have such a talented and caring team, and I will always be grateful for the work you have put in to make this company a success.
To my family and friends: Your support, understanding, and encouragement through every challenge and triumph have been invaluable. Thank you for standing by my side throughout this incredible journey.
As I begin this next chapter in my life, I am confident that LifeGuard MD will continue to thrive under new leadership of Mitch Huff and the outstanding crew that has been in place serving our customers to continue the mission. I know the company is in great hands. Although I am stepping away from the day-to-day operations, I will remain a consultant to help with the transition and beyond. I will always carry with me the memories of these 20+ years and the joy of working with such an amazing group of people.
Thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey. I look forward to staying in touch and cheering on the continued success of LifeGuard MD.
With sincere gratitude,
Patty Wrich
Founder & Retiring Owner
LifeGuard MD
LifeGuard MD extends its sincerest thanks to Patty for her years of hard work and wishes her the best in her retirement. As one chapter closes, another one begins, and we are excited to welcome Mitch Huff into the leadership role. Mitch is an Omaha native who received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Morningside College in Sioux City. While at Morningside he played football and participated in the College’s business club. Mitch has a decade’s worth of sales experience with the majority of it being in the industrial sector with Fastenal. He and his wife Danielle recently welcomed their first child into the world with the birth of their daughter, Aria. In his free time Mitch loves to cook at home for his family, attend husker sporting events, and is an avid golfer. Mitch is thrilled to be leading the team at LifeGuard MD and looks forward to meeting with customers and friends. He is just a phone call away.
